FootBall Drills

An Exciting Game Called Football

Monday, January 3, 2011

Football is the all time favorite sport in Europe. Its fans don't just enjoy a watching a football game on television every now and then. A true football fan watches every single game of the season on a monster-sized large screen TV.

Can't get enough of real life football in the field? Use your football insight and knowledge to choose the right plays that will overpower your opponent. There are many sports that young teenagers could enjoy, but in football, competing in the game remains one of the most exciting of it all. Of course, if you want to play and want to know the two separate football entities, is the most challenging part. So, to make this story short, a basic football drills on how to play football is provided.

Foot Ball Drills

To learn how to play the game, it is important for coaches to clearly explain to players what will happen during an actual game.A youth football game takes place on a stadium or a field that is 100 yards long. Each team composes 11 players who will try to kick the ball or hit it with their heads. On both sides of the field there are goal markers which details where the teams can score, the goal of both teams are to bring the ball through kicking it to the goal in order to score. While on defense, the goal of the defensive team is to prevent the other team from scoring on the goal. When one teams offense is played strategically on the field, the defensive team defense will strike as well.

The player with possession of the ball will then find a secure kicker/runner to score by running to the defensive team's goal end. When the runner is countered by the defensive line, then the possession will be turned over to the defensive team. Generally, when a player was fouled, offense will kick the ball to the goal to score for the penalty.

A clear understanding of how it was played will revolve around how it was scored. Generally, there are lots of ways to find plays in order for the player to score points in the goal, and this includes:

Direct Forward goal: When a team kicks or runs the ball in the opposing team's goal, they will acquire 1 point.

Extra Point/Two point conversion: After a goal is successfully made, the offensive team can either gain a 1 point field goal to score.

And lastly, Field Goal: Kicking the ball through the goal end will deliver 3 points if successfully executed.

The game of football is all about perfect execution and the right timing. If plays are well made then you can successfully gain 1 point. Earning 1 point is so hard for you to gain especially when you're in the field.
