Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Golf is a sport where you have to practice a lot and learn the golf swing basics and keys to succeed. Even if you are an experienced golfer you have to practice to keep your handicap or to lower your score. There is an unlimited scope for improvements in the golf sport and you ahve to work for your golfing success and stop slicing the golf ball.
Before you go on you have to decide which golf swing suits to you. Every golfers dream is a 300 yards ball down the fairway. Well, but not everybody has the capability to do so. Mental and physical fitness is different from golfer to golfer.
Often we hear on the range that you have to stop slicing. But how to stop slicing and correct the slice in a good way? Well, there are some golf swing drills you can consider to improve your game pretty fast. Do you want to lower your handicap and beat your competitors? Then this article is for you.
The best drills are the ones that helps you in a fast way. One of my favorite tricks is to ask a friend of mine to film me while swinging. This may sound silly at first but this technique helps to find out what I have to do to improve my golf swing! Analyze your movements and practice in a proper way. By the way, it is a lot of fun for your friends and yourself.
Another great exercise is to reduce your movements while you are swinging. Concentrate on the swing and visualize your movements. Brain power and mental health is essential in such a complex game like golf. By changing your mindset and focusing on your movements you will see fast results. This is how to stop slicing in a smart way.
It all comes down to practice and the fundamentals of golf. What I mean is the grip, stance and so on. Train the golf swing basics, the more fun you will have with your game. For example your stance should be as wide as your shoulders, you foot straight aligned to the ball.
Practice hard but smart. I know it sounds a bit stupid but anyway. It is right.
Next you want to know how to stop slicing and where to find a good training guide to improve your game as fast and effective as possible.
